Model Train
I designed a model train in a CAD program and placed them into sketch sheets.
- Drawings are composed of different line conventions to indicate different views and help people understand the drawing.
- A sectional view shows the inside of a part in greater detail to help understand the drawing.
- An auxiliary view shows the dimensions of an angled face instead of it being foreshortened.
- Symbols are used instead of words to identify hole types to make the types of holes more universal and concise.
- It can be better to use an equation to define the dimensions of a CAD model because it can be more concise.
- The three types of constraints are mate, insert, and flush.
- Cad drawings are much more precise than hand drawn sketches.
